DMAIC Problem Solving is a five step problem solving method. The steps include: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. DMAIC is structured to guide the user and to help determine, understand and resolve issues within a process.
DMAIC doesn’t only have to be used when an issue is found but can also be used as a tool to improve any existing processes. While the method is structured it does not have to be followed linearly.
To help the defining process this board includes space to draw the current state process map and outline any root cause with a fishbone diagram.
